Last minute feta cheese pie

The easiest way to make a Greek feta cheese pie or cheese bread, if you wish. It does not require phyllo dough, just 3 basic ingredients and a good Greek feta cheese. My only tip is to make sure you bake it in a large enough baking tray; the dough will be thin and crispy, like pizza.

Enjoy it warm! 

Preparation Method

1.     Use a large bowl to mix well the flour, olive oil & milk  

2.     Add the crumbled feta cheese and oregano and mix well

3.     Line a large baking sheet with baking paper and empty the dough on it

4.     Drizzle some olive oil on top

5.     Bake in a preheated oven (340F) until golden brown


-       1pound self raising flour

-       2 ¼ cups whole milk

-       1 cup extra virgin olive oil

-       1pound Greek feta, crumbled

-       oregano

-       1 tsp. salt

-       freshly ground pepper

-       some olive oil for drizzling



                                                Preparation Time: 10 minutes                                           

Baking Time: about 30 minutes

Serves: 6-8
